Yunnan Tulin Tea Industry's classic [8504] recipe from 1985, on which the Tulin brand's style rests: balance, softness and consistency. The blend uses medium and large leaf with added buds, so the tea comes out dense but never coarse. An anniversary release for 2020 (the factory's 35th year), a limited run of 28,014 cakes. The taste: a nutty profile with hazelnut and wood notes, sliding smoothly into a sweet chocolate finish. A good, dense cake from a well-known producer. Recommended by the whole team.
