My thoughts before / after shu puerh

Before: earthy? sounds like dirt.

After: oh. oh.

Ripe (shou) Pu-erh is wet-piled to fast-forward decades of aging into months. Done badly it tastes like a pond. Done well — like ours — it's dried dates, cocoa, and wet forest floor after rain. Start with the Menghai brick, brew it hot and forgiving, and report back.
