A very old shu that needs no explanation — lovers of aged tea will adore it. Long years of storage have made it calm, deep and dense, with no bite and no murk. An even, stable liquor. On the palate: old oak barrel, bitter chocolate, dried fruit, leather and a light smoke, like an aged whiskey. I'd drink it at midday (evening too, if you like), unhurried, when you just want to sit and think or poke at the computer. Recommend the old man — you'll be in bliss.
